Mummy and Lilly Belle Playtime!

While Hannah is at school and Beck is (hopefully) taking a nap, Lilly Belle and I have some much needed one on one time. We spend it playing whatever she wants. I thought it would be fun to film us playing together. This way I can capture that cute little laugh she has, and the way she pronounces words.

here are some of the videos

Having Fun Playing With Cousins In St. George

My sister and her family took a trip to Cedar City for the new temple open house. We live about three and a half hours from St. George (the city next to Cedar City) so decided to head down for the day. Hannah loves spending time with her cousins!
We went to a local dinosaur museum (they are everywhere in Utah.)

Then we headed to the funniest playground I have ever seen! The kids ran around for hours. There were swings, slides, zip lines, and a train!

We finished the day with dinner at Viva Chicken. Delicious!

Love when these kids gets together :)

Fun with Nanny and Poppy

My parents came up for a long weekend at the end of October.
Here are pics of all the fun things we got up too.

The day my Mum and Dad arrived Hannah had a Halloween party at school. Her grade was given the theme fairy tales. Hannah decided to dress up as Little Red Riding Hood. I think she is the cutest red riding hood EVER!

Traveling to the pumpkin patch. He always has that tongue out!

Waiting for the train to arrive.

Not sure who had the most fun on the train, my dad or the girls? I think it was a tie.

My sleepy baby. This is why I love baby wearing.

Train spotting

My Dad came with us on a little nature walk. It is called Bridal Veils because of the amazing waterfall.

Lilly Belle LOVES her Daddy

You can tell that my Dad was thrilled to take a pic with the girls wearing their My Little Ponies masks.

My Dad wanted to go check out this train store in Murray, and it actually turned out to be so much fun. They had this mini arcade area in the back where they had a couple kid rides and tons of trains you could drive.

Their trip ended with Halloween. Hannah was wonder woman and Lilly was Belle

It is so much fun when my parents come to visit. The girls love and miss them so much.

Monticello Utah Temple

We can cross another temple off our list. It took four hours to get there and totally worth it.
The Monticello Utah Temple was the first of the smaller temples the church started to introduce. In fact, Aaron and I were sealed in a smaller temple. The Angel Moroni looked massive, and very close to us. We loved walking around the grounds and the kids loved playing in the grass.
It was a sacrifice to get there, but I am so glad we did it.

facts about the Monticello Utah Temple

- announced October 4th, 1997
- groundbreaking November 17, 1997
- dedication by President Gordon B. Hinckley July 26-27, 1998
- The Monticello Utah Temple was the first to be built after President Gordon B. Hinckley introduced the concept of smaller temples. Construction took only eight months.
- The exterior marble finish matches the unique 4-corners area landscape and appears to change color tones based on the time of day and weather conditions. The original Angel Moroni was white. Concerned that the beautiful statue seemed to get lost on overcast days, church leadership replaced it a year later with a larger, more visible 23-karat gold-leafed Moroni.
Once the church's smallest temple at only 7000 square feet, it initially featured one sealing room and one ordinance room. During a renovation four years after its opening, the celestial room was moved into an addition to the building, making space for another sealing and ordinance room.
- Following the renovation, the new 11,000 square feet Monticello Temple was rededicated in 2002

Hole N' The Rock

When you drive four hours to see a temple (which was totally worth it,) instead of just turning around and driving back home, you make a day out of it. We were planning on spending the day in Moab, but stumbled upon this cute tourist spot on our way back from the temple. It is nestled about midway between Monticello and Moab. It was the cutest, coolest, and funkiest place I have ever been.

The tourist shop is literally in the rock!
You can take a 15 minutes tour inside the rock, but with the little kids were decided not too.

We then decided to walk around and look at all the cool stuff they had

The girls were really excited to see Mater!

They even had a zoo with some pretty fun animals

It was such a fun day!
I am so glad we stopped here and hope to go back to Moab and explore some more

A Visit to the Utah Field House of Natural History State Park

While planning our day trip to Vernal, we found out that Vernal is the Utah dinosaur capital!
We thought it would be fun to take the girls to this state park, but we just call it a dinosaur museum. It was super cheap! Aaron and I paid $7 each, Hannah was $3.50, and Lilly and Beck were free. I believe kids were free up until the age of four. It isn't a big museum, but is packed with lots of exhibits and fun activites. The dinosaurs looked a little too real for Lilly who was quite scared.
If you make it out to Vernal, I would definetly recomment checking it out.

We Have A Secret

As I write this blog post, I am actually quite nervous. I will start by saying that no, I am not pregnant. My secret is that we started a YouTube channel, and post videos of our everyday life.
Why on earth would we want to do that? well One reason is I don't want my children to every forget their grandparents, cousins, parents, pets etc. I love that they will be able to sit down with their children and grandchildren etc and be able to show them things like their trip to Knotts Berry Farm, making pancakes in the morning, or playing games together. One of my biggest fears is to be forgotten, and I guess in some way, this will prevents that.Another reason is babies don't stay babies! My kids are growing so fast and I want to catch their little quirkiness at the age that they are now. Like how Lilly Belle says milk or how Hannah gets excited about everything, and how hard it is to make Beck smile.
Wanting to do these videos is something I have been wanting to do for a long time. Almost four years ago was when I first started toying with the idea; however, I was worried about how I looked and what people would think. Those are still concerns hence why I am so nervous to share this, but I figured what the heck just do it. So if you would like to see our family and what we have been and are up to here is our channel link. Subscribe if you would like and hope you enjoy!

Games we Played in February 2022
