~ Summer Blogging Day Two : DIY Wednesday

Recycle Candle Holder

First : Grab some candles.
These are from Bath and Body Works but any glass candle will work

Second : Use a knife around the edge of the wax.
Then cut the wax into pie slices.

Third : Start pulling out the chunks of wax

More than likely, you will be left with the wicks stuck to the bottom

Fourth : Heat up some water in the microwave and pour into the candle holder.
This will loosen up the wicks, so you can remove them easier.

Lastly : Give the candle holder a good wash with soap and a sponge.
You will be able to easily remove the labels.

Once they are clean it is time to fill them.

I choose nail polish but you can use them to fill anything you like.
