~ Book Review : Through to You ~

Book Nineteen : Through to You by Emily Hainsworth

It's the same dream I've been having for the past two months - Viv walking away from glass and fire, her laughter echoing through the night. She's coming towards me, her lips stretched into a seductive smile. Her hips sway and I want to touch her so much it hurts. It want to bury my fingers in her black hair. She's a dark, stunning contrast to the bright flames rising behind her. I anticipate breathing in her scent - it's like spring -and running my hands over her skin and never letting go. But then she stops and looks away from me. The fire dances on her cheek. I want to scream, but I am mute. I reach for her, but I can't move. She turns back towards the flames.
I've lost her again.

Camden Pike has been grief-stricken since his girlfriend, Viv, died. He’d give anything to have just one more glimpse of her. But when Cam visits the site of Viv’s deadly car accident, he sees an apparition. Her name is Nina, and she’s a girl from a parallel world. When Cam follows her there and makes an unbelievable discovery, it’s as if all his wildest dreams have come true. But things are very different in this other world. Nina is hiding a secret, and the window between the worlds is shrinking every day. As Cam comes to terms with the truth, he’s forced to make a choice that will change his life forever

My Thoughts : I was browsing the shelves of Barnes and Nobles, looking for a new book to join my bookcase, when I saw this very intriguing cover. After reading the back, there was no question that I was going to buy it. It is quite unusual for me to buy a book without having some prior knowledge on it, for example, goodreads reviews, or youtube videos; however, this book just really intriqued it. It sounded very unique in it's story line. I just had to buy it.

It only took me the better part of the afternoon to finish this book, because it is only 264 pages. It wasn't a five out of five star book by any means. There were parts that I was confused at, parts I felt were rushed, and parts that left me wanting more information. But as soon as I finished I wanted more. I felt like this was a good foundation for a phenominal book. It has been several weeks since I read this book, (I know it has taken me forever to write this review) and I'm still thinking about it!

This book follows a boy named Camden who is extremely depressed after his girlfriend is killed in a car accident. One thing I love is that Camden's depression/hate for everyone really started before the accident. He use to play football but had to quit after a injury. This injury, and not playing football, ends up playing a big part in the book. I have to admit, that I was struggling in the beginning. I know his girlfriend died and yes it is sad, but it was all you read  about. It started to annoy me, and I started to get really irritated by Camden. His was so rude to people who only wanted to help him through this. Camden was such a jerk! Don't panic he does start to grow on you as the book goes on.

We then met a girl called Nina. Camden thinks she is some kind of ghost because she has this greenish tint to her (I think it was green.) The strange thing is that Nina knows Camden. Truly knows him. We come to find out that Nina has found a portal from her world to his. Nina needs help finding the portal back to her world. When Nina and Camden find the portal, she told Camden not to come through!

Have you ever thought I wonder if there is another me out there? In this book there is a parallel world. The towns are identical with a few differences here and there. But another High School, another Camden, another everyone from his town. Camden finds out the biggest difference, when he goes through the portal, is that Viv isn't dead in this world.  Now Camden has Viv back he never wants to leave her again. But, he doesn't belong in this world, and we learn that things aren't what they seem.

This is when the book gets really interesting because here comes all these twists and turns. I'm not going to go into detail about any because it would ruin the book. Just know that I really enjoyed reading these plot twists. I had a lot of holy crap moments. I love that Camden grew as a character from these twists and turns. Most importantly, he became likable again.

The ending was the icing on the cake. It was sweet, and touching, and simply perfection.

I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. It was clean and didn't have swear words (I can't remember any if it did.) Don't expect it to be the best book you have ever read; however, I do think you will be surprised by it.

~ 6 Month Update ~

We just recently past the six month point.
I am really excited that we are this far along, but I still feel like I have forever to go!

A lot has happened since our last update. Tax season ended and so did my seasonal job. I love the people I worked with and do miss them, but I love being back at home with Hannah.
The biggest downside to not working is that time has really slowed down for me. I worked the end of January till mid April and those months FLEW by. I could not believe how quickly it went!
The past month and a half . . . . not so much.
I am trying to stay busy. That seems to be the key to speeding up time.
Now I am home, I have started to spring clean my house. I have organized both mine and Hannah's closet, my bedroom, Hannah's bedroom, and almost done with the guest room. It feels so good to declutter!! I have also been reading a lot more, and trying to run more as well.
I also recieved a new calling at my church. I am the activity days leader, so I get to do fun activities with the girls ages 8-11.

I also had a blast at my first 5k!!! It was a color run in San Bernardino. I didn't take the running side of it too seriously because it seemed like more fun then anything. I was also very lucky that most of the color thrown at me landed on my hair and not my face. I have already signed up for my next 5k, at the end of July. This one is a bubble run down in Pomona.

Hannah is doing really well. She is loving being at home, but really misses her cousins. Hannah's favourite thing to do is run! We have a path that runs along the back of our house and our neighbours house, and Hannah just runs up and down for about an hour (nap time lasts a while on those days. . . .Love it!)
Hannah also enjoys playing babies, sidewalk chalk, and testing the bikes at the MCX. When Daddy gets back, we'll look into getting her a bike. I don't want to deal with that.

We did attempt potty training; however, I just didn't feel like Hannah was very into it. She had no problem peeing in her underwear and doesn't have the patience to sit on the toilet for very long and wait. Her favourite thing is the toilet paper. So yeah, we will try again another day.

Hannah does miss her Daddy. I think she feels his absence more when we are home. Today, for example, she walked over to me and said, "I'm sad." When I asked her why she was sad, her reply was, "I miss Daddy."
Those moments just break my heart, but overall she is doing really well.

Time has been flying for Aaron. He is doing a lot more over there, so we don't communicate as much.
I did wake up randomly at 2am the other night, and noticed I had a facebook message. It was from Aaron, and so at 2 in the morning we were messaging back and forth.
Aaron informed me that he had injured his hand, and they had to medivac him out from wherever he was. Aaron managed to cut the tip off his index finger. He said you could see bone. . . . .Ouch and extremely gross!!
He is doing good, and anxious to get back to work and join his team.  It is difficult to write details about what Aaron is doing over there because I don't know any. I have no idea what he does and I prefer it that way. All I need to know is that he is alive and well.

Thank you so much for your prayers and continued support. We love you all!!
Hopefully soon we'll be sharing our homecoming story.

~ The Things I Treasure Most ~

The recent fires at Camp Pendleton had me thinking about the things I couldn't bare to lose in a fire.
(Imagining my family is safe because obviously they are most important to me)

1. The Letters Aaron and I wrote each other while he was in boot camp.

I would be so upset if I ever lost these letters.
This was the first time Aaron and I went without talking to each other everyday since we had met. We both realized that life without each other would simply suck.
Aaron actually proposed to me in one of these letters. . . .

I love that this is the worlds' most casual proposal and that he goes on to talk about an obstacle course : )
I love him!

It has been really fun to re read some of these letters. We were such dorks!
Along with the letters, I also kept a journal. I wrote in that book everyday he was gone!
I'm so excited for Hannah to read these letters, and hopefully she comes to love them as much as I do.

2. My Wedding Dress

I know it is just a wedding dress, but NO you don't understand. This dress is absolutely gorgeous!!
I always thought I would wear this big puffy princess gown; however, the second I tried this dress on I knew it was MINE!!

Everything about it is just beautiful! From the buttons that run down the back, to the way it flares out just below my knees. . . Stunning!

Hannah was convinced it was Elsa's dress from Frozen, so I let her try it on.
This girly girl loved wearing it, especially when she would try to walk and realized she couldn't move.
It was such a precious moment.

3. Hannah's Hospital Stuff.

When I found out I was having a girl, I went a little bow crazy! The nurse that helped during delivery put Hannah in my arms (after she was all cleaned up) and on her beanie was a bow! I knew I would NEVER throw that beanie away. It was the first bow of many that Hannah has worn. The baby grow was from my Aunt in England, and I loved giving Hannah endless cuddles in it : )

4. My Grandmother's Necklace

I remember showing my Grandma (my dad's mother) my prom dress. It was this beautiful, sage green, modest gown. My Grandma told me she had the perfect necklace that I could wear with it.

Now, fast forward five or six years, and my Grandma was not going to live much longer. I asked her if I could have the necklace that I wore to prom. She, of course, said yes, and I am so thankful that I have something to remind me of her. The necklace is gorgeous and I can't wait for Hannah to wear it at her special occasions.

When I was preparing for this blog post, I started walking through the house and looking at this and that. I quickly came to realize that the most important things weren't my TV, or my clothes, or shoes etc. Those things can all be replaced. But, if I lost those letters, or my Grandma's necklace, I would be devastated.
These four things that I choose, besides my family, are my most treasured items.
I really enjoyed writing this blog post, and looking back down memory lane : )

It has been way too long since I last did a motivational Monday.

I saw this quote on Pinterest (of course) and fell in love with it!

There have been so many people who have inspired me to keep going. I hope to one day do the same for someone else.

~ Women in the Scriptures Challenge : Rebekah ~

Old Testament

Rebekah
wife of Issac, mother of Esau and Jacob

Genesis 24: 15-67, 25: 20-24, 28, 26: 35, 27: 5-13, 15-17, 46,

Christlike Qualities
hardworking, charitable, faithful, virtuous, reverent, humble, modest

Whenever I think about Rebekah, I think of the song from the seminary Old Testament soundtrack. The song is called Marriage for Eternity, and it says this about Rebekah : "Like Rebekah, I shall for forsake the rest to marry in the covenant, and meet the Lord's request."
What does meet the Lord's request mean? Marriage for eternity is an essential part of Heavenly Father's plan of salvation. We have been promised that through obedience to the new and everlasting covenant of marriage, we may become like God and live forever as families in His presence. - (preparing for eternal marriage)
Abraham understood that the Lord had a plan for his family. He did not want Issac to marry a daughter of the Canaanites, so he sent his servant away to find Issac a wife.

I love the prayer this servant said in Genesis 24: 12 - 14 , "And he said, O Lord God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham.
Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water:  And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master."
In verse 15 it reads, "And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out.'  - Rebekah was an immediate answer to a very sincere and faith filled prayer. Verses 16 - 20 says, "And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up. And the servant ran to meet her, and said, Let me, I pray thee, drink a little water of thy pitcher. And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink. And when she had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw water for thy camels also, until they have done drinking. And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again unto the well to draw water, and drew for all his camels."  I love that the scriptures say the servant RAN to meet her. Then when the servant asked for a drink Rebekah immediately gave him something to drink. She was genuinely kind and charitable. She did not judge him or think twice about getting him something to drink. She simply saw someone in need. Rebekah is truly amazing!

I love that Rebekah was a hardworking woman. She did not sit idly by waiting for her prince charming to arrive; she was continually working. Elder Richard G. Scott said, "If you are single and haven't identified a solid prospect for celestial marriage, live for it. Pray for it. Expect it in the timeline of the Lord. Do not compromise your standards in any way that would rule out the blessing on this or the other side of the veil." I remember, when I was a young single adult, just waiting and waiting for what seemed like an eternity for my future spouse to hurry up and find me. Even though I found myself discouraged at times, I would NOT drop my standards! I wanted, and was going to have, a temple marriage. I continued to work at making sure I was ready to enter the temple when the time came. We have been counseled over and over to use out time wisely. It is too easy to fall from the straight and narrow when we are idle or use our time unwisely. Stay away from those things that will lead us away from our goal of eternal life.

Going back to Genesis 24 verse 54 - 58 says, "And they did eat and drink, he and the men that were with him, and tarried all night; and they rose up in the morning, and he said, Send me away unto my master. And her brother and her mother said, Let the damsel abide with us a few days, at the least ten; after that she shall go. And he said unto them, Hinder me not, seeing the Lord hath prospered my way; send me away that I may go to my master. And they said, We will call the damsel, and inquire at her mouth." Rebekah's answer was simple : "I will go." Rebekah was ready when called by the Lord.

The last thing I want to talk about is when she went to meet Issac. In verse 65 it mentions that she took a veil and covered herself. What does this mean? In the January 2002 Ensign, Cynthia L, Hallen, wrote an article about Rebekah. She said this about the veil, "It was common for unmarried women in Rebekah’s day to go about in public with their faces unveiled. So when Rebekah put on a veil, it was a sign of her virtue, reverence, humility, and modesty and showed respect for her future spouse. Similarly, those who enter marriage today—both men and women—need the qualities of character Rebekah showed in this simple but dignified act."

I have really come to love and respect Rebekah. I think she is a great example for our young women to follow.

While looking at what Heather Farrell, from women in the scriptures, had to say about Rebekah.  I saw this article that she had posted.

This is Julie B. Beck talking,
"I spent quite a few months this last winter studying about Rebekah from the Old Testament. I have been taken by her mission and what she had to do... I have loved studying her characteristics, her circumstances, her blessings, her journeys, her family, her experiences, and her challenges. She had a very full mortal experience. It had its highs and its lows. I have learned that she was one of the most pivotal and important people in the history of mankind, certainly in the house of Israel. Without a Rebekah, the house of Israel would not have been brought forth. Without a Rebekah who knew who she was, the house of Israel would not have been brought forth. Without a Rebekah who knew her responsibilities in the house of Israel, that house would not have come to pass. Without a Rebekah who knew how to receive revelation, the house of Israel would not have been brought forth. Without a Rebekah who understood the blessings of the priesthood, the house of Israel would not have been brought forth.

The lesson for me in all the hours and months of studying Rebekah and her family is that each of us in our day is as important to our generation and to our time as Rebekah was in her time. We each are pivotal in our families, and the success of the house of Israel is now dependent on millions of Rebekah’s who understand what their place and mission is on the earth. Each of us is a daughter of heavenly parents, and as part of the house of Israel, we come from royal blood. When we choose our mission, we have power and influence in that royal house and in the Lord’s work. He is depending on us.

...If that one woman, that one Rebekah had failed in any part of her responsibility, how would the house of Israel have come forth? She understood and knew her importance, and she never lived to see the outcome of her commitment. Those blessings are just now beginning to unfold after these many thousands of generations, but her blessings are happening in the world. I can see the house of Israel being gathered up, the temples being built. That is what she invested her life for.

... I have a little exercise for those of you who want something specific to do in your scripture study. Get a new little copy of the Book of Mormon. In the front of it, open to a blank page and write three questions: Who am I? What are my responsibilities in the house of Israel? How do I fulfill my responsibilities? As you read and study, you will find some blank pages in the back. You can add Post-it notes if you like. Start writing your answers in the back as you read, and you will have a journey of discovery about who you are. It doesn’t matter how long this study takes. Take one month, take ten years, and discover who you are. When you finish studying those questions in the Book of Mormon, study them in the Doctrine and Covenants, the Pearl of Great Price, and the Old Testament. The Lord knows who you are. He knows what your responsibilities are and how you can fulfill them. Power and strength will come to you as you understand who you are in the Lord’s kingdom."

I too want to take up Sister Beck's challenge while reading the Book of Mormon. I encourage all of you to do the same : )

~ Book Review : The One ~

Book Twenty Three : The One by Kiera Cass

THIS IS BOOK THREE IN A TRILOGY SO DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU HAVE READ BOOK ONE - The Selection AND BOOK TWO - The Elite

This time we were in the Great Room enduring another etiquette lesson when bricks came flying through the window. Elise immediately hit the ground and started crawling for the side door, whimpering as she went. Celeste let out a high-pitched scream and bolted toward the back of the room, barely escaping a shower of glass. Kriss grabbed my arm, pulling me, and I broke into a run alongside her as we made our way to the exit.

The Selection changed the lives of thirty-five girls forever. And now, the time has come for one winner to be chosen.

America never dreamed she would find herself anywhere close to the crown—or to Prince Maxon's heart. But as the competition approaches its end and the threats outside the palace walls grow more vicious, America realizes just how much she stands to lose—and how hard she'll have to fight for the future she wants.

My Thoughts : I have very mixed feelings about this book, and trilogy, so want to start with something positive. Kiera Cass truly has the most stunning book covers EVER!!!

Now moving on from there. I took me the better part of an afternoon to read The One; however, I was extremely frustrated with parts of the book. I felt like book one, book two, and most of book three could have been combined into one book. I felt like I was just reading the same thing over and over : America loves Maxon but she also loves Aspen, America keeps getting in trouble with the King, the rebels throw a couple bricks again. It felt very repetitive.

The last ten chapters of book three is where things really start to pick up. I was loving the twists and turns. I loved not knowing where the story was going. Then just like that the book was over. Wait, Why? I didn't have time to process everything before it was done. Why wasn't the last ten chapters a separate book? Kiera Cass could have added so much more detail. I wanted more from those last ten chapters. . . a lot more.

I don't want this to be a really negative review, because I know a lot of people really loves this trilogy. I think if you enjoy reading a good love triangle then this is your book. If you aren't heavily invested in the dystopian side of the book then you will probably like this book. These are very fast books to read and you do get sucked into the story very quickly. I think, mainly, because every girl wants a chance at becoming a princess.

I would recommend this book for teenage girls. I think junior high and high school girls will love it.

don't forget to check out book one and two in the trilogy

I LOVE THESE COVERS!!!

~ Book Review : Pushing the Limits ~

Book Twenty Four : Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry

"What do you want to hear? That I'm exhausted? Terrified? Confused? That all I want to do is rest my head on your chest and sleep for hours, but that is not going to happen because you're leaving me?"

"Yes," he said quickly, then just as quick said, "No. Everything but the last part." He paused, "Echo, how could you think I would leave you? How could you doubt how I feel?

"Because," I said as I felt the familiar twisting in my stomach. "You saw me lose it. You saw me go insane."

The muscles in his shoulders visibly tensed. "I watched you battle against the worst memory of your life and I watched you win. Make no mistake, Echo. I battled right beside you. You need to find some trust in me. . . in us." Noah inhaled and slowly let the air out, His stance softened and so did his voice. "If you are scared, tell me. If you need to cry and scream then do it. And you sure as hell don't walk away from us because you think it would be better for me. Here's the reality, Echo : I want to be by your side. If you want to go to the mall stark naked so you can show the world your scars, then let me hold your hand. If you want to see your Mom, then tell me that, too. I may not always understand, but damn, baby, I'll try."

So wrong for each other …and yet so right.

No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal.

But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.

Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.

My Thoughts : Much like Maybe Someday, I was completely gripped with the story from the very first chapter.  I can get a little frustrated with stories told in two people's perspective; however, this story was perfect because of it. It followed a girl named Echo (yes, her name is Echo,) and a guy named Noah. Both are seniors in high school, and both are trying to move on with life. I knew that, as a reader, I would be learning about some tragic back story for both these characters, and I think Katie McGarry did a great job on when, and how much information she gave us. These back stories progressed with the story, and with their character development.

I loved learning about Echo's story along side her. She can't remember the details on how she got these really "ugly" scars, and as the book progresses she learns more and more abut it. I found Echo to have enormous courage. She got out of bed and went to school, knowing that others gossiped and whispered about her constantly. I really felt for her because all she wanted was "normal."

Noah's story came in pieces as well. Katie McGarry told me enough to peak my interest then moved on. Even after I found out Noah's story, I was still waiting to see what would happen. His last few chapters had me in tears. It was wrote really beautifully.
Noah is that bad boy who isn't actually a bad boy. He had been labeled a bad boy and so I felt like he just went with it. I love that Echo brought light and love back into his life. She gave him a reason to be better, to try harder, and to fight for a future. Noah did use a lot of cursing, so be warned.

There were so many amazing lines in this book that I honestly  felt like I was melting into the book; for example, 'His lips curved into a sexy smile and I became lost in him. “I love you, Echo Emerson.” I whispered the words as he brought his lips to mine. “Forever.”' I LOVE IT!!!! And this one,  "Her shoulders never shook. No tears streamed down her face. The worst type of crying wasn’t the kind everyone could see–the wailing on street corners, the tearing at clothes. No, the worst kind happened when your soul wept and no matter what you did, there was no way to comfort it. A section withered and became a scar on the part of your soul that survived. For people like me and Echo, our souls contained more scar tissue than life.”  I am truly the biggest sucker for these kinds of books.

If you like these boy meet girl, they fall in love romance books then pick this one up. It is classed as young adult but again there is a bit of language and sexual content in there; however, I stilled loved it!

”Tell me you chose me, Echo.”…
“I chose you.”…
“You will never regret it. I promise.”

~ Book Review : Maybe Someday ~

Book Twenty Two : Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

Ridge : for what it's worth, he doesn't deserve you

Me : I know. But it still hurts that I ever thought he deserved me. And honestly, I'm more hurt about Tori than I am about what happened with Hunter. I'm mostly just pissed at Hunter.

Ridge : Yeah, I don't even know that guy, and I've been pretty pissed at him. I can't imagine how you must feel. I'm surprised you haven't retaliated with some evil revenge plot yet.

Me : I'm not that clever. I wish I were, because I'd be all about revenge right now.

Ridge stops walking and turns to face me. He cocks an eyebrow, and a slightly wicked grin appears. It makes me laugh, because I can tell by his smile that he's mapping out a plan.
"Okay," I say, nodding my head without even knowing what he's about to propose. "As long as it doesn't land us in jail."

Ridge : Do you know if he leaves his car unlocked?

At twenty-two years old, aspiring musician Sydney Blake has a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her good friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter cheating on her with Tori—and she is left trying to decide what to do next.

Sydney becomes captivated by her mysterious neighbor, Ridge Lawson. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the daily guitar playing he does out on his balcony. She can feel the harmony and vibrations in his music. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either: He seems to have finally found his muse. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one…

My Thoughts : I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!! The book has so much going on that it is hard to write a review without confusing you or spoiling the ending. So, where do I even start? I was completely sucked into the book from the very first line, and it just got better as the book went on. I honestly read this book in a day. There was no way I could put it down.

I loved the pace of this book. The love story built a little bit more with each chapter, and it didn't go to fast at anyone spot.  Between the text messages, the flirting, and those moments they were writing music together, I melted more and more into the book. Colleen wrote the love story so well, that every innocent touch between Sydney and Ridge felt like something more. I couldn't breath during those moments! That is how powerful the writing style was.

I loved Sydney. I loved how she could overcome such a messed up event. She found strength in Ridge, and was able to rebuild her life. I felt deeply connected to her. I laughed. I cried. I loved that from the beginning of the book she knew what she wanted from life and she got it. She became strong, independent, and most importantly happy all by herself. You feel like Sydney's best friend when reading this book and I loved it.

Ridge has been one of the easiest characters to fall in love with. He is simply a good guy. . . .  an extremely attractive good guy, but a good guy none the less. When we meet him, he is in the middle of a writing block. He just can't seem to put lyrics to his music, and who ends up helping him? Sydney. Those moments that are writing lyrics together felt very intimate, yet very natural at the same time (I hope that made sense.) It was beautiful so see their lyrics move the story along.

Sydney was cheated on and Ridge has a girlfriend. I HATE love triangles but this isn't your average love triangle. It is much much more. I loved everyone involved in the love triangle, and really didn't know how Colleen Hoover was going to bring a conclusion to it. I didn't want Maggie, Ridge's girlfriend, to get hurt, But, you can't help who you fall in love with. When Colleen did bring a conclusion to the love triangle, it was wrote beautifully! It made complete sense, and was the right choice for everyone involved.

I adored all the twists and turns this book had. I loved how nothing seemed forced or unbelievable. The ending wasn't rushed. OH MY GOSH THE ENDING WAS AMAZING!!! It all came together beautifully and over a good period of time. Honestly, Maybe Someday has to be one of the best written books I have read. It was refreshing and unique, and I need and want more Sydney and Ridge.

If you enjoy a good love story then you have to pick this book up. I know you won't be disappointed. I do recommend this book for the older audience and not teenagers. This is NOT young adult.

~ Our Week In Pictures ~

MONDAY

The week started off with some major spring cleaning . . . . my closet!
I had clothes in two different closets, and all over the floor. Enough!! My goal was to donate HALF my wardrobe, so it would all be able to fit into one closet.
I have to say, it felt amazing to cut down that chaos!

TUESDAY

After all that cleaning, a girl just needs to relax and watch some Wreck it Ralph.

WEDNESDAY

It was 9:30am when I snapped this picture!
What a lazy baby.

THURSDAY

Hannah's reaction to yet another picture.

FRIDAY

Hannah had another long sleep in, so we decided to get a late breakfast/early lunch at the Broken Yoke Cafe. Hannah got pancakes, and I got the most delicious biscuits and gravy (the picture does not do it justice.)
DELICIOUS!!

SATURDAY

I had seen a bunch of these at target a few days ago and didn't get one.
Well, we happened to go to target today, and they only had FOUR left!! I literally ran and grabbed one just seconds before the other three went.
Worth it!! She loves it!

SUNDAY

After a wonderful day at church, it is time to relax and make some brownies!

. . . .  her hair didn't stay in long : (
